Welcome to "Beyond music!" project!

"Beyond music!" is an eTwinning project.

What do we feel, what do we "see" when we hear music? Do we feel the same way whether we're from Portugal, Romenia, Poland or Turkey, for example? This is a project about feelings and creativity.

Partners from Portugal, Romenia, Turkey, France, Poland, Germany, Czech Republic and Hungary chose 10 classical music masterpieces.

Our aims were to develop creativity, learn how to express feelings, be familiar with classical music, develop ICT skills and respect different ideas.
The results we expected to achieve were:
  • Different "works of art" based on the same music.
  • Different points of view/ideas based on the same music.
  • Different presentations based on the same music.

Hope you like seeing our work as much as we enjoyed doing it!

The next task was to make our students listen to the pieces. Then they were free to express themselves through drawings or paintings, dancing or writing, through powerpoint presentations or in some other ways they wish.

This blog pretends to be a window to the work developed with our students.

Hope you like it!

  1. Congratulations Manuela!
I'm happy to see that your project is a success. Keep on the good work! The fact that you have so many countries working on this project shows that a good idea creates positive feedback.

  8. Hi María,

I'm very happy to hear about you!
We would like to see your drawings.
We are very curious about them.

We listened to the last track with little groups. We compared the works of 2 groups. The first group shared their feelings and completed each others thoughts. So they got a whole composition in the end. The other group didn't speak to each other, and they made a lot of small individual pictures on a large paper. It was very interesting.

    Bye,

    Ica
